About Me

My photo
Thrifty finds, DIY, and a soon to be Home Reno...

I love to find cheaper ways to do expensive things. Whether this be through Thrift-store-shopping or DIY decorating, I find a way to get it done. I NEVER shop in the regular priced area of a store. If I do happen to see something I love that is regular priced, I wait til it goes on sale. OR, i make it my own version of it. I love to paint and do crafts. However, being a mother of two and a night-shift nurse, I have very little time to do it. We are also in a rental home while we search for my forever home. So, I am LOVING the blog world right now as I find ideas for my new home. Be sure to follow me so I will know I'm not just blogging to myself. :-)

Lots going on w/ the Mortons

First of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Lanie Mae actually was Tinkerbell at school and then Snow White for Trick or Treating....per her request. She, was so cute and extremely excited! She had her school party where she got the first dose of what was to come on Halloween night. Boy, did that make her even more anxious for Saturday night to get here.

Snow White (before we bundled her up)

After we got home, my sweet husband converted Lanie Mae's toddler bed into a big girl bed so that I could finish working on the baby bed. (o.k., so i nagged a little. but, sometimes, it's necessary) Project for tomorrow...nag him to move the changing table upstairs. The nursery is moving right along. I can't wait til it's finished so that I can post pics!

Here are a couple more OCTOBER pics. I will post more later...

LM LOVES Scarecrows for some reason. She gives our hugs and kisses multiple times a day and has to tell them good morning and goodnight.
