So, tomorrow morning is our big anatomy ultrasound day. I am excited to see the sex of our baby (if leg position permits). But, also, I am prayerful that everything looks normal. It seems like I have read more and more about perinatal complications and death. And, quite frankly, I work around it and see it in person. So, needless to say, I am a basketcase this pregnancy.
I feel great! I am feeling the little one move around, which is one of the things I missed most about being pregnant. And, am so excited about the entire experience. If you read this, please say a prayer for normal results tomorrow. I can truly say that a healthy baby is all that matters. With that said...people have asked, "Do you have a feeling on what you are having?" Up until a couple of weeks ago, I felt like I was having a girl. Now, not so sure. After the ultrasound, I will elaborate more on that :)
On another note...we spent last week at the beach with Neil's family. We had 25 people total at Seagrove Beach with us. 15 in our house alone! It was great! We ate ALOT and had LOTS of fun! The night after we got there, LM had diarreah (one episode). So, we thought, hmmm, something she ate. Two nights later...the big V. YUCK. Nothing like staying up all night at the beach with your 3 year old puking. Bless her little heart. Two nights later, D again. Then, cough, congestion, low grade fever, and just a terrible feeling and acting little girl. We adjusted. Neil was incredible. He volunteered to spend time at the house during nap time and fussy time. I can't say enough how wonderful he was and in turn how he made our trip (which could have turned disasterous) just as wonderful.
Here are a few pics from the beach...
